The TechHire Bootcamp is designed to give our future workforce new pathways to high skill jobs with good wages.

TechHire Summer Bootcamp

The TechHire Bootcamp is six weeks and upon completion, the participant will receive an industry recognized credential. The 2020 Summer Bootcamp will offer its participants one of the following courses: Web Development, Cybersecurity, Gaming, Web Applications, Comp TIA A+ and Networking.

How to participate in TechHire Bootcamp

You may qualify to participate if you are:

A Miami-Dade County resident

2

Between the age of 15 – 24 years

Receiving free and/or reduced lunch or

4

A Family receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

TechHire Bootcamp Experience

Our mission with this program is to make high-impact, high-demand jobs in technology available to our local youth and pave the way to a great career.

Tech Summer Program at BBBS

Students were exposed to topics that included Coding, cybersecurity, Game Development and Networking – IT skills that are currently in-demand.

Upon completing the program, participants will receive a $300.00 stipend, and upon obtaining a credential, participants will receive an additional $200.00 stipend.
